(You can record up to three tracks in mp4 or mkv containers, and I'd suggest mkv over mp4 as those files are recoverable even in the event of a program crash or a disk filling up while recording, which mp4 is not. In the OBS audio mixer, choose which tracks you want the LoopBack device to appear in (the default will be all) and in the Recording and Streaming settings areas, choose which tracks you want to record or stream. You should now be able to both record output from Skype in OBS and hear it. In OBS, add the LoopBack device as an audio output source in your scene. In Skype, choose the LoopBack device for output. In LoopBack's main window, turn on "Monitor audio through" and choose the output device you are listening with, preferably headphones so the output will not interfere with your microphone. The app should create at least one to start with and call it "LoopBack".
